Our approach

One project. Five phases.

You always know which phase we are in, what we need from you and what happens next. Here is what each phase involves.

  1. Discover
  2. Plan
  3. Design
  4. Build
  5. Launch & Grow
  1. Discover

    What happens

A conversation about your business, your customers and what is not working today. We look at your current site and the sites your customers compare you with.

    What we need from you

    • An honest picture of the business and its goals
    • Access to your current website, if there is one

    What you get

    • A shared understanding of the problem
    • Early advice on what is worth doing first
  2. Plan

    What happens

We turn what we learned into a written scope: the pages, features and content the site needs, what is included and what is not, and a quotation based on that scope.

    What we need from you

    • Feedback on the proposed scope
    • A decision on what to include now and what can wait

    What you get

    • A plain-language scope and quotation
    • A site structure everyone has agreed
  3. Design

    What happens

We set the creative direction, then design the key pages on desktop and mobile. You review the designs at agreed points, so nothing important is a surprise later.

    What we need from you

    • Your content, logo and any brand materials
    • Clear, consolidated feedback at each review

    What you get

    • Designs for the key pages
    • A direction that the rest of the site follows
  4. Build

    What happens

We build the site, connect any agreed integrations and test it on real phones, tablets and computers, for speed, accessibility, security and the details that make it feel finished.

    What we need from you

    • Final content and approvals
    • Access to any third-party tools being connected

    What you get

    • A working site to review before launch
    • Fixes for anything that is not right
  5. Launch & Grow

    What happens

We plan the launch carefully, including domains and redirects from any old site, then check everything once it is live. After that, you choose whether ongoing support would help.

    What we need from you

    • A go-ahead for the launch
    • A decision on whether you want ongoing support

    What you get

    • A live, checked website
    • An optional plan for looking after and improving it

Working together

What you can expect from us.

  • A written scope before design starts

You see exactly what is included, and what is not, before you commit.

  • Reviews at agreed points

You see the work while it can still change easily, not only at the end.

  • Plain language

No jargon without an explanation, and straight answers when you ask.

  • Honest advice

Including when something is not worth doing, or not worth doing yet.

Good questions to ask.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope: the number of pages, the features and integrations, and how ready your content is. The timeline is agreed with you as part of the written scope, rather than promised up front.

How much does a website cost?

Every project is quoted on its requirements, deliverables and complexity. There are no fixed packages, so you only pay for what your business actually needs.

Do I need to have my content ready?

Not at the start. We will tell you what content the site needs during planning, and help shape it. Having it ready before the build begins keeps things moving.

Do I have to sign up for ongoing support?

No. Ongoing SEO, GEO, maintenance, optimisation and support are optional, each arranged as a separately scoped retainer. Every build already includes foundational SEO, so you can start with the build alone and decide later.

Let’s Have a Kopi.

Phase one is a conversation. Tell us where your business is and what the website needs to do.
